Spider Hall Stocking
On Sunday 20th November we took delivery of 13 fish from VS Fisheries. Three fish of around 20lb were paid for by our members through this years competitions at the complex and these fish were put in the front lake.
We also stocked 10 fish in the 15lb bracket which went into the back lake. Along with the fish we are bringing on in the stock ponds, we should soon be back up the fish levels prior to the fish losses earlier in the year.
The Largest of the Carp at 20lb 8oz
Hopefully these fish will one day grow to compete with the superb fish below know as Alex’s which was recently caught at 38lb 8oz by member Jake Homewood.

The club will once again be offering a winter ticket which will run from 1st January 2017 until May 31st 2017.
Prices will be posted in early December. Maybe a Christmas present idea for someone who has thought about joining?
River Medway Stocking
This years stocking of Chub and Barbel is due to take place at Barming on Friday 2nd December. The 1,000 fish are being supplied free of charge by the EA who have bred the fish at their fish farm at Culverton. They will once again be marked with the blue dye on their underside. Please report any captures via the link on the forum.
A tough day at Wierton Res following heavy overnight rain saw 23 anglers manage just a handful of bream between them in the club championship match so it was left to Jon Overton to claim the honours, banking five Carp to take first place on the day, fishing method feeder to the island from peg 1.
The Float-Only match on the Beult at Cross at hand was a similar struggle to the last match with Peter Blake taking first place with 2lb 10oz.
The Christmas match will go ahead as planned at Hartley Lands Fishery on Sunday 11th December on Nicks and Pear Tree lakes. The fishery has recently been sold but water booking are being honoured. If you wish to fish in this match you must book with the match secretary. Entry this year is £2 with and optional £5 pools. Members in their first year will need to purchase a day ticket to fish.
