Can I have access to individual water posts please?

A pole in very good+ condition; 13, 14.5m or 16m with top kits incl. cupping kit at a sensible second hand price please.

My pole of choice at the moment is the Preston Response M70, but will consider other equivalents.

Let me know if you have a pole you wish to unload for the right reasons if you get my drift.

Are all of our lakes open the day of the royal funeral

Can anybody tell me when this lake is going to be open again ?

Why is the lake closure not posted anywhere on this site and any other closures come to that.
We should have a notices section so that we can check all venues before we leave.

Hello everyone - I gave up angling in the early 2000’s (sold all my gear to pay bills) after almost 30yrs of pleasure, club, specimen and match angling.

Started back up 2yrs ago when my then 4yr old saw lots of old pics of me in my match days in an album when we were clearing our garage and decided he wanted to try.

Since then I’ve gradually got some bits of tackle together, done a few holidays where there’s been on site fishing, fished the Medway and Monk Lakes getting him comfortable fishing short pole then was lucky enough to find out about the Juniors Fun Day at Great Danes.

My son had a fantastic time and now we are members so on our return from hols we will be trying out that water a few times before school restarts plus some of the other great waters the club runs. 

Look forward to meeting many of you on the bank in he coming months and years.

Hi There. I'm celebrating 30 years of fishing with the purchase of a 4x barrow to go with my new MVAS membership. The barrow will enable me to get to swims at other waters than Mote Park and the disabled swims near the boathouse. Already tried out Great Danes and Weirton and am looking forward to return visits there and trying out other venues
